We would advise given the timing and nature of the event that anyone who is interested books accommodation in Bunbury well in advance.

More details will be released when we have finalised the event lineup.

John Boyle O’Reilly Association.

It is with great pleasure we are finally able to launch the John Boyle O’Reilly Association website to the public. This is one part of a total overhaul of how the memorial in Bunbury and other events related to the association will be handled. While we have been well served by the efforts in the past by people such as Dr. E C Manea, Liam Barry, Brian Burke and Geoff Gallop amongst many notable contributors to the cause the time has really come to ensure the ongoing recognition of John Boyle O’Reilly, his works, life and most relevant to us his escape off the coast of Bunbury to the USA from colonial forces. This website will serve as a central location to coordinate our activities including our future events and community education activities as well as a means to connect those interested in the story of O’Reilly from all around the world.

Exciting things are coming soon and we will be unveiling them here very soon.

Regards,

Tom Dillon, Peter Murphy & Michael Manea
